Job Description

At Enpal, you would be

• taking on responsibility early. You are responsible for the operation and further development of your entire solution and own quality checks of the algorithms, pipelines, APIs, frameworks and visualizations under the guidance of our Senior Software Developers.

Qualifications

We are looking for roughly a 50% fit with for what we ask. The other 50% is a surprise to us, it is the magic you bring to the table and the diversity in which you make us grow.  

• you are currently enrolled in a master's degree in a technical, quantitative, statistical or economics degree (e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, machine learning, data science, econometrics, etc.) or comparable 

• you are experienced in Python 3.x and maybe even rubbed shoulders with Flask, Celery, Tornado, Pytest, you don’t need to know them inside-out, but knowing project infrastructure helps.  

• If you have prior experience with Data Engineering, task automation, data pipelines and BI, it helps a bunch. We’re about supporting business departments to automate the boring stuff, and that’s a very diverse world with ideally elegant solutions.  

• You communicate clearly in English, spoken and written. Crisp and concise ways of formulating your ideas and opinions. Knowledge of German is a plus.  

• your experience with Azure, MongoDB, DevOps is a big plus. If it’s rather AWS and SQL that’s cool too, we’ll make that work.  

• you are inspired by the energy transition and want to make a difference. We are one of the biggest players in the solar business and want to make this change with you.
