Web Developer (Django, Wagtail)

We're WAYF, a design and development agency for digital products and services, creating distinctive and future-facing online experiences. A partner to brands big and small, shaping identities and shipping mobile and web applications with a laser focus on quality, scalability, and time to market. We're seeking an experienced Django Developer to build and maintain applications for our key clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid expertise in Django, HTML+CSS+JS, and experience working with CMS-based Django projects.

Project tools we use:

• Slack, Linear, Notion, and more

Tasks

• Develop and maintain our projects ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability

• Optimize website performance, with a focus on speed, accessibility, and search engine optimization

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues

• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing best practices in web development

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Django versions, implementing upgrades when appropriate

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all website components and processes

Requirements

Technical requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Solid experience working with Django

• Experience working with Wagtail or similar content management systems

• Very comfortable using Git and collaborative branching workflows

• Knowledge of web security best practices

• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Compensation

• B2B : 10 000 - 17 000 PLN net + VAT
