Technical Sourcer

  • UK based remote position

  • 6 month fixed term position with potential for ongoing employment

DISCO is currently searching for an experienced Technical Sourcer with experience in recruiting technical positions within the SaaS space, such as Software Engineers (Python/Django) and AI/ML professionals. This internal sourcing position offers the successful candidate flexible working hours, the ability to work from home or a co-working space, and the chance to join a successful startup in the music industry as we move into our next stage of growth.

About You

You are an experienced technical sourcer who has established networks and relationships with Software Engineers, particularly those with Python/Django experience. You understand technology, and you know what to look for, and where to look to find the best candidates to join our incredible team. You understand that there are many different ways to source candidates, and you keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the industry.


  • Proactively source and interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks

  • Design and send recruiting emails to relevant potential candidates

  • Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates

  • Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates

  • Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles

  • Contact past applicants for new job opportunities

  • Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals

  • Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases

  • Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires

  • Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill

  • Work with our executive and marketing teams to promote our brand to potential candidates

  • 2+ years experience in technical candidate sourcing or similar

  • Familiarity with social networks, professional sites and resume databases (including recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly business email writing knowledge)

  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously

  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates

  • A hunger and drive to find the right person for the position
