We are seeking a skilled developer with experience in any of the following technologies: React, Python/Django, Swift, Kotlin, or React Native. WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING MOSTLY?
Take on a dynamic role as a technical specialist in our projects (70% of your time), involving technical design, architecture, tech leadership, and client support.
Ensure the quality of our work by effectively communicating organizational standards, such as methodologies and standardized toolsets.
Collaborate closely with our sales team to help design solutions, support estimating processes, and present ideas to both new and existing clients.
Evaluate individual team members' performance, conduct performance management discussions, and oversee their follow-up. Focus on coaching team members and proactively checking in on their well-being and needs.
Serve as the go-to person for the team, offering assistance and collaborating on pragmatic solutions when challenges arise.
Communicate our values, strategy, objectives, and policies to the team, fostering a supportive and transparent work environment. Explain and follow up on the company vision, culture, decisions and requirements.
Work closely with our Heads of Engineering, Operations, and People & Culture to align efforts and strategies.
WHAT YOU BRING
At least 6 years of software development experience
Proven experience in a leadership role where you led multiple people and helped them in their professional path
Excellent English language skills
Motivated by a leadership responsibilities
Proven ability to take decisions that impact yourself and others
Strong communication skills, experience with consulting clients and explaining complex technical matters in a simpler language that anyone can understand
Hands on, pragmatic and results-oriented attitude
Empathetic, flexible, open-minded and helpful
Independent thinker, yet committed to company’s and team’s success
Due to the urgency of this role we can only consider candidates already located in NL and/or possessing a valid work permit for NL/EU
