Staff Engineer, Python Fullstack

This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack engineer who thrives in dynamic, large-scale digital product environments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using Python, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL, while ensuring scalability, performance, and security. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions and implementing best practices in architecture and code quality. You will guide development teams, perform code and design reviews, and contribute to rapid application development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape technical standards, work with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and influence impactful digital products in a fast-growing organization.

Accountabilities:

* Writing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure code.
* Understanding client business use cases and translating them into clear technical designs.
* Leading architecture and design decisions, ensuring extensibility, scalability, security, and best practices.
* Defining solutions for functional and non-functional requirements, including technology patterns and frameworks.
* Conducting POCs to validate design decisions and technology choices.
* Reviewing and mentoring development teams to ensure adherence to technical guidelines and standards.
* Troubleshooting and resolving defects to maintain optimal application performance and responsiveness.

Requirements:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with strong expertise in Python, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL.
* Familiarity with web frameworks such as FastAPI and Django.
* Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker), and monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch).
* Strong knowledge of security best practices and patch management.
* Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
* Hands-on experience in rapid application development and implementing scalable, secure architectures.
