Staff Engineer

A unique USA-based Fintech is building innovative financial infrastructure to connect Banks and Fintech Platforms more effectively and efficiently.

About the role

We are looking to hire a Staff Engineer (Python) to work closely with our Product, Compliance, and Business Development teams to implement the core capabilities of the company.

To succeed in this role, you will have a fine balance of technical expertise, independent thought, and motivation,

acute attention to detail, and the ability to take strategic development architecture decisions.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design and architecture of large scalable software solutions to empower the Product Roadmap

that has been agreed upon with partners.

• Lead the development and implementation of software verification plans, quality assurance procedures, and security audits.

• Design and contribute to the CI/CD and general SaaS infrastructure as we continue to find ways to build scalable processes and procedures to be more efficient and effective in our respective roles.

• Test, debug, and triage issues that arise with the integration to ensure all parties are ready and protected against increases in volume and traffic between each other.

What You Will Bring

• 10+ years of development experience in SaaS platforms using modern SDLC methodologies.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, relational data modeling, design and migrations, and ORM (SQLAlchemy).

• Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, and other API development-related tools such as automated

verification via Postman.

• Experience developing with Python, agile methodologies, Test-driven development,gRPC, and protobufs.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS

• Experience with Terraform and/or other Infrastructure as code frameworks is a plus.
