Sr. Test Analyst with functional experience of Tribal SITS

As an Automation Test Manager we want you to blend the ability to a hands on Automation Engineer with being able to manage Agile test project teams. We'd summarise this approach as 'do as I do' not 'do as I say'. You'll not be expected to be hands-on all the time, but you'll need to lead by example.

We're looking for a blend of the following tech - we're not expecting you to know everything because that's impossible!

· Test Automation tools and frameworks: BDD, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, REST and webMethods libraries

· Performance: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, Performance Center, Grinder

· Test management and SDLC Collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Slack

· CI/CD: Jenkins, Maven, Git

· Cloud vendors: AWS, Azure

· Strong coding experience in one or more of: Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Groovy

· Digital services, micro service architectures and data services

· Good knowledge of the automation triangle and testing gates

· Demonstrative experience and ability to lead and manage medium to large sized Test teams

· Stakeholder management at all levels, ability to work with all relevant parties (project, suppliers, business, technical teams, service delivery etc) to ensure an effective test service is maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle

· Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, training and other aspects as required

· Understanding of the business objectives to be able to offer any value-add proposals or innovations

· Excellent presentation to technical and non-technical audiences

· Excellent communication (both written and oral)

· Agile Practitioner certification and ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Certificate would be

Technical Responsibilities

  • Define and develop test strategies and methodologies with clear ROI analysis

  • Work with the engineering teams to derive test requirements throughout the development cycle.

  • Develop test plans, design test processes, and establish quality goals

  • Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts

  • Create high quality software deliverables across test plans, test scripts and test reports

  • Analyze test data and implement metrics and dashboards for progress and product quality reporting.

  • Be an advocate for shift-left testing practices, focusing on how we can ensure quality for the client

  • Identify, design, and deliver innovative technical solutions to increase test effectiveness and coverage, while reducing the cost of test execution

  • Engineer solutions in unknown platforms with a defined experimentation approach

  • Analyse Tribal SITS application and be a functional experience

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical testers covering planning, estimating, managing and reporting on tasks.

  • Represent Infuse leadership to client stakeholders in professional and committed manner.

  • Mentor junior engineers and analysts providing guidance in implementing and using test automation

  • Be an active contributor in our testing practice, helping it maintain the highest standards of talent & technology.

Role Requirements

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field

  • A minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles such as Software Engineer or SDET with focus on testing in Tribal SITS

  • Detailed functional knowledge of Tribal SITS

  • Programming experience is desirable in one or more of Ruby, Scala, Groovy, C#

  • Experience in developing and using various test frameworks and tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Django, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and Appium

  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles.

  • Good understanding and experience of Agile and DevOps methodologies and frameworks

  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins or Bamboo

  • Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Git and Artifactory/Maven.

  • Experience working within TDD and BDD environments including proficiency in Gherkin or similar tool

  • Experience with API testing with knowledge of web services automation using SOAP and REST services

  • Experience with XML, Databases and SQL.

Soft / Transferable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in team management and development and mentoring of junior engineering talent

  • Experience in stakeholder management including presenting status reports and project deliverables

  • Must be detail oriented, analytical and creative thinker with passion for quality and test automation

  • Strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills
