About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer ll proficient in Python to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our organization and its clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software products.
5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using Python and Django framework
Design, develop, and maintain Python-based software solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior developers on software design and implementation.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Identify and troubleshoot issues, debug code, and implement effective solutions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and challenges.
Must have skills:
Ability to write powerful and efficient APIs interacting with multiple systems
Ability to write maintainable, documented code with automated tests
Ability to manage code changes in git version control system
Ability to communicate and develop asynchronously
Nice to have skills:
Ability to write efficient SQL queries using MySQL / PostgreSQL
Ability to create and troubleshoot automations with CI/CD systems
Ability to create and troubleshoot docker containers
Ability to understand containerized deployment systems
Experience using Figma, Trello, Jira, Confluence, Gitlab

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position which is not inclusive of bonuses, benefits or other forms of compensation that the position may be eligible for. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. Salary Range
$149,800—$187,300 USD
