• The company – we're Zenstores, a Bristol based technology startup reinventing delivery experience for the next era of commerce. From fashion brands to breweries, pet stores to plant shops, thousands of brands use the Zenstores platform to ship millions of orders to their customers each month

• The role – we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the company as the 15th member of the team. This role will involve building and deploying updates to our core SaaS product, and helping us to continue to scale as the company grows. This is a role that is integral to the company's continued growth and provides hands-on experience at the growth stage of a startup's journey – this role is a great fit for someone entrepreneurial

Requirements

We're looking to hire a hardworking, experienced Software Engineer with a passion for building and scaling high-quality web applications. Your work will make a difference to thousands of businesses, and you will play an integral role in how our product and company evolve

• You’re looking for a role where you have more freedom, and you can make a real impact on the company

• You have 3+ years of commercial experience of building and scaling web applications

• You’re positive, upbeat and obsessed with technology and rethinking the way things are done

You are skilled in the following areas:

• Modern web frameworks and building APIs — Python and Django is a plus!

• JavaScript/ES6

• JavaScript frameworks (Vue or similar)

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day at Zenstores will involve:

• Writing, testing and deploying new features to our core product

• Contributing to product planning and gaining experience of scaling web applications as the company grows

• Working within a multi-functional agile team
