Remote, but you must be in the following location
Incisive is building a better model for restorative dentistry. Independent practices are under pressure: lab consolidation is accelerating, digital dentistry has arrived, but most practices are only halfway there, and building a complete workflow alone is expensive, slow, and isolating.
We solve that through one partnership: nine specialty labs matched to specific case types, no-cost digital scanning equipment, a portal to track every case and manage every invoice in one place, and a clinical support team on every case. More than 600 doctors nationwide trust us, we retain over 95% of them year over year, and we're growing fast. If you have high standards and want to do work that compounds, you'll fit right in.
We're hiring a builder, not a maintainer. You will contribute to the buildout and scale of the B2B SaaS portal, infrastructure, and data products that are the connective glue for our organization. Jump in on this new and modern codebase to rapidly deliver business value.
This role is AI-native. Our team heavily adopts AI across all product development disciplines to deepen our impact and drive aggressive growth. Our tech stack is six months old and well-architected, with test coverage, observability, and CI/CD to allow for rapid onboarding and reduce developer time-to-value.
In this role, you will have an excellent chance to learn from senior engineers on a modern codebase and immerse yourself in world-class startup agile practices.

Build and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudFront as appropriate
Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure reproducible, version-controlled environments across dev, staging, and production
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to automate testing, builds, and deployments
Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD), writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests before or alongside implementation to ensure high code quality and confidence in releases
Apply Spec-Driven AI Development practices β writing clear, structured specifications that guide AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate implementation while maintaining code quality and architectural consistency
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into well-scoped technical specs
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help enforce engineering best practices
Monitor application performance and reliability in production, using observability tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
