Software Development Engineer in Test

You'll work across multiple projects and collaborate with global teams to tackle problems and refine processes to make our internal tooling fast, reliable, and accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, test, and deploy new tools and systems for internal teams

  • Work closely with console and backend developers to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated end to end test coverage.

  • Maintain and enhance existing Python based automation framework

  • Engage in cross-team test initiatives for new and evolving projects

  • Drive high standards of quality for both engineering decisions and customer-facing features

  • Report, track and verify defects

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge

  • Experience with Python

  • Previous experience with API development and testing

  • Experience with at least one modern web application framework, preferably React

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing or testing a non-PC device (phone/game console/set-top box, etc.)

  • Experience with React Native

  • Experience developing or writing test code for a game console

  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes

  • Experience with Jenkins
