Job Purpose Statement
We are looking for passionate and self-motivated Senior Specialist who has strong hands on experience in web application development. You are, at core, an extra-ordinary software engineer with expertise in design & architecture and solving problems in portal space. You must possess the ability to participate and influence discussions with Program Management, Product Management and other stakeholders across the globe to ensure successful and timely delivery of high quality software products from our development center in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development. to solution design, implementation, optimization and support.
2. Be an Interface with other teams (senior developers and architects) to create technology specifications from business requirements for one or more modules within the project.
3. Responsible to prepare the technical design of the components within the module (one or more of client/web presentation tier, server tier, data access and data model, integration component, package function customization).
4. Proficient in articulating the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack or component or design pattern versus another to the clients and project team and drives selection of technologies, designs to come up with the optimal architecture.
5. Drives the performance tuning, re-design and re-factoring for a module.
6. Contributes to designing and implementing the build, release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application.
7. Implements (hands-on) the module components based on prevailing Framework and Open-source standards & its best practices.
8. Mentors the team (people working on the module and other project team members) on technology concepts and best practices for design, implementation and other processes.
9. Take a critical look at existing tools/process and implement improvements.
Experience developing web applications using Node.JS Development.
Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, and AJAX
Hands on experience with React JS(min 4 years)
Experience of building and using High Order Components (HOC)
Expert in JavaScript (preferably ES6) programming
Hands on Front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
Working experience on Charting Libraries(D3, etc.)
Good knowledge of Rest API's/MicroServices.
Solid understanding of Security best practices
Experience working with tools like Git, Maven
Expertise developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, with demonstrable production-scale experience.
Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and basic commands .
Experience in working with databases(MongoDB, MySql). Should able to write sql queries involving joins and grouping mechanism . ORM knowledge will be an added advantage .
Highly motivated and should able to work independently
Strong agile/scrum development experience
