About the Role: We offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver state-of-the-art architectures and technology stacks, as well as a global technology product vision for our Data-as-a-Service platform. To make this happen, you will work at the intersection of data pipelines, machine learning, and data visualization, collaborating with commodity trading deep domain experts, and product and data teams.
What you will do in this role:
You will have the unique opportunity to design, build and maintain technology product architecture, features, and infrastructure while shaping the direction of the team.
Work closely with the CEO (founder), product team, and data team to build an advanced supply chain visibility solution
Develop back-end and as well front-end modules
Setup and drive the QA automation and DevOps pipeline
Design / Develop / Maintain integration interfaces
Data storage solution (eg. Database) structure, design, administration, and tuning
What you bring to the team:
5+ years of working experience in end-to-end full-stack software engineering involving data pipelines, machine learning, and data visualization
Demonstrable Python development skills. Experience with additional programming languages is welcome (e.g Javascript, R, etc.)
Working experience with Linux infrastructure technology on top of Cloud Computing platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc)
Working experience with relational databases (design, administration, tuning)
Technical leadership in the implementation of software projects
Passion for learning and innovation
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Master’s or Bachelor’s university degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or exceptional practical experience
