You will join the Mapping and Perception department, and collaborate closely with people from a diverse set of cultural and professional backgrounds, who share a passion for delivering top-class mapping solutions that aim to digitize physical spaces through the creation of photorealistic digital twins. To elevate our software solutions used in mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations based on cutting-edge technology in the area of robotics.
By designing and implementing features for our core components in the field of imagery, computer vision and 3D perception
You will create concepts, software architecture & design for our core software stack (C++/Python)
Apply clean code techniques & design patterns and mentor your teammates through in-depth code reviews
You will analyze and improve our applications with respect to efficiency, scalability, and stability
Being involved in the full life-cycle of application development from design to deployment including infrastructure and continuous integration/delivery
You will handle the continuous improvement of automated tests and automated delivery of software
A Master's degree or PhD in computer science, information systems, or similar
At least 5 years of full-time work experience as a C++ Software Engineer (modern C++ and ideally python)
Experience with C++ Libraries like Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, PCL, ROS or likewise
Practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Applied Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD) approaches to software development
Experience with handling the entire software development life cycle, including analysis, requirements, software design, code reviews, testing, and deployment
