Our engineers are responsible for building world-class user experiences. The person in this role will play a key role in the engineering team and at Presence working primarily on our interactive therapy platform experience team.

What will you do at Presence?

• Implement the core functionality that our users see and interact with daily, making your role essential to the success of our business

• Works on the engineering team responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting all therapy sessions in our platform. 

• Use Angular to build highly optimized and scalable modern frontend applications

• Use Python/Django to create  REST based microservices

• Deploy application components to the AWS cloud

• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technical product owners to write, test, and deploy your code safely to production

• Participate in a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, testing, teaching, and learning

• Work closely with Product, Design, Platform Services, and Release Management teams to contribute to our application roadmap

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues within the application

What are we looking for? 

• Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience specializing in Front End development; TypeScript/Angular, Python/Django, and Javascript experience preferred.

• Experience with Video Conferencing SDKs/APs is a big bonus

• Solid understanding of building images/containers and deploying them via a modern container orchestration framework such as ECS, EKS/AKS/GKE, or similar

• Experience working and optimizing CI/CD pipelines

• Experience monitoring and debugging production systems 

• Ability to easily adapt, learn new things, and apply new technologies

• Solid understanding of Agile software development concepts

• Experience developing from a well-defined design system but comfortable enough to work with rough wireframes and mockups for prototyping.

• Familiarity with best practices for single-page applications and mobile-driven development.

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

Salary $140,000.00-$175,000.00

Where is this position located?

• Presence is headquartered in New York City with our clients located throughout the U.S

• This position is remote US based and may require travel

• This position will report directly to the VP of Engineering

• All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, 12:00pm-5:00pm EST M-F
