In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power digital platforms and content management tools. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that support complex web applications and audience databases. This position offers the chance to contribute to innovative digital products, optimize data workflows, and mentor junior engineers while working in a hybrid or fully remote environment. You will help shape the architecture of modern web systems, integrate emerging technologies, and ensure stability, reliability, and maintainability across all backend services. * Accountabilities
* Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Python and Django REST Framework.
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication across systems.
* Apply best practices in database design and optimization using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
* Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
* Collaborate with DevOps to maintain deployment pipelines for backend services.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements into backend development processes.

* Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with strong Python expertise.
* Proficient in database design, optimization, and hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
* Experience with Django or similar Python frameworks.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote or hybrid work environment.
* Nice to have: experience with content management systems, frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React), Kubernetes, Docker, and Agile methodologies.
