Senior Software and Data Engineer

Who are they?
The Tech Delivery Team is the technical link between the Customer
Operations and Customer Support with the rest of the company, we fix
bugs when a client finds a problem, we help the CustOps with onboarding of new customers, the DevOps with the deployment of new products and features and we study how to make our client’s transition to Pelico SAAS smooth & easy.

Our team is currently composed of 7 people and
we’ll keep growing during the year to come. We are people from
different backgrounds, nationalities and ages ranging from early 20’s to late 30’s and we speak at least 2 languages each. We work hybrid and remotely with people from the East EU to West EU and North Africa.

We have identified several opportunities that will make today’s
processes and daily work easier for the customer operations onboarding
new clients and adding new data to the current ones.

Tasks

As a member of Pelico’s engineering team, you’ll play an instrumental
role at maximizing the impact of the Pelico platform at customers

Missions 🏆

• Design, develop, maintain and evolve the data stack to answer both business and product needs (espacially back end features within the platform)

• Build data pipelines and configure the platform (incl. algorithms) to on-board new customers

• Work closely with the customer operations & product
  strategy teams to iterate based on user feedback and bring impact to our clients

• Own features end-to-end from technical design to dev.

• Help your coworkers review code, spread your technical expertise, improve our tool chain

• Play an integral role in establishing our engineering culture and best practices

• Contribute actively in alignment between others technical teams in the Engineering department

• Be a player in product roadmap & engineering delivery towards business targets.

Requirements

Requirements 🎯

• At least 5 years of experience in SAAS company experience would be appreciated.

• You are mastering on Python Javascript, C++, Kotlin, You-name-it… but note that we hire based on engineering fundamentals rather than familiarity with specific technologies

• Experience in building data-rich products or complex data pipelines (professional or personal projects) or working with data (data transformation & event driven pipeline)

• SQL expert

• Bilingual English & German mandatory (verbal & written)
