Remote, but you must be in the following location
SuperDuperDB, a solidly funded startup, is looking for one very senior Python developer to complete our small, talented team who is writing a mostly open-source Python system to effortlessly integrate AI and databases.
AI or data science chops would be a definite plus, but could easily be waived for someone who could systematically write rather a lot of very high-quality code over a reasonable period of time. A past record of open-source Python work would be very attractive to us.
You can be fully remote, or work at our Berlin office. Compensation is competitive by European standards and includes stock options. Life-work balance will actually be practiced.
SuperDuperDB has the potential to disrupt how AI is developed and implemented - and to become the new standard for doing AI with your data.
Contributing to the project's open-source codebase by writing high-quality Python code and adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Interfacing with our AI research, product and infrastructure teams to concretize our vision of creating an integrated, deployed environment for AI models together with databases.
Designing, developing, and maintaining the core framework of the software, including developing and deploying automated unit testing and CI/ CD pipelines.
Collaborating with other developers and the open-source community, participating in code reviews, and providing feedback and suggestions to improve the project.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Python and related technologies, and sharing knowledge and insights with the rest of the team.
