Senior Python Developer
We're hiring a Senior Python Developer to work for our client On-site
Mission description
The Statistical Information Systems Service is at the service of the Department of General Statistics in the National Bank of Belgium. Within this service there is a small IT section managing a large project to replace the current infrastructure for reporting and disseminating Statistical data.
Gitlab Runners and Python scripts are used for the technical support.
Deliverables
Create and test new end-user applications
Create documentation and user guides

Python development
Gitlab & integrated pipeline systems
Application Architecture (application lifecycle, SOA, design patterns, application layering and frameworks) &SDMX knowledge and expertise
SQL Server
Automatic testing (Unit tests, Integration tests, Solenium, Postman)
Rest API design and implementation
Experience
Python programming experience/ use of GitLab
SDMX knowledge (at least understanding the concepts)

Languages
French / Dutch: active knowledge (understanding / speaking / writing technical documentation / reading) of one language and passive knowledge (understanding / reading) of the second one.
English (understanding / reading / writing technical documentation): active knowledge
The consultant must be present on-premises at least 50% of the business days.
