Senior Full Stack Developer - Threat Intelligence

Zscaler is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our threat intelligence team. The senior full stack developer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining both frontend and backend systems. You will work closely with the malware reverse engineering team to build our platform that enhances Zscaler detections.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable full stack applications

• Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment, ensuring they meet high standards for quality and performance

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the overall efficiency and reliability of the applications.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards

Qualifications:

• Required 5+ years in a Senior Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc)

• Strong understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience with RESTful API design and development

• A proven experience of using Django including extensive knowledge of its internals

Preferred:

• Expert in relational database design, implementation, queries, and reporting (DDL, SQL)

• Experience with building solutions for malware automation and detection

• Familiar with networking, security, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)

• Data mining experience with large security data sets such as IDS, IPS and firewall logs

Education:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree from four-year college or university (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline), or equivalent industry work experience.
