Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects.
Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; designing common keys in physical data structure; establishing data integration specifications; examining data applications.
Examines data models and determines best-fit data interchange methods.
Assesses middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing.
Develops project scope and specifications identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecasts resource requirements and establishes delivery timetables.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or closely related field or equivalent related professional experience is required. Additional certifications are preferred.
Seven or more (7+) years of experience in a development role, designing and developing integrations to internal and external applications
Strong hands-on python and some experience of web development (flask would be ideal)
Strong relational database knowledge and hands-on SQL
