B: Senior Backend Developer

Tasks

Your Job

• You are responsible for existing and upcoming backend projects.

• You plan and develop new products in the areas of cloud security awareness service and billing operations.

• You design and create the backend API of our management platforms.

• You create and maintain the related project documentation.

• You ensure together with your colleagues that development and quality goals are met.

• You are responsible for mentoring our Junior Backend Developers.

Requirements

Your Profile

• You have a degree in computer science or are a trained IT specialist for application development.

• You already have several years of professional experience in software development in the field of Internet applications (Client-Server architecture, REST API, e-mail, databases).

• You have very good knowledge of Python. Additional experience with PHP is great as well.

• Ideally, you have already gained experience with the Django Framework or Flask.

• You have profound experience with data storage systems (MySQL, Elastic Search, SQLite, Redis).

• Ideally, you are comfortable with using Docker.

• Ideally, you have experience in UNIX environments, especially Linux.

• Ideally, you have already gained experience in CI/CD.

• Ideally, you are used to writing Unit tests.

• You can abstract, think logically and you convince through initiative and personal responsibility.

• You have experience working on large scale codebases in an agile environment.

• You enjoy working in a team and are solution-oriented, reliable, and resilient.

• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
