About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Your Role:
You will be working in a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build cloud native applications for the financial services industry. You will contribute to CICD creating, configuring and deploying applications on the cloud.
Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives
Design and build solutions on AWS using Lambda, Dynamo DB, and Cloudformation.
Experience in configuring and deploying CI/CD application on the cloud
Deliver and support highly scalable, high performance APIs within an agile development team
Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
Actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges
Developing DevOps Guru Pipelines is an asset

About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of experience with Python
3+ years of experience in Python Frameworks (Django, FastAPI or Flask is an advantage)
3+ years of experience in designing and implementation of APIs.
2+ years of experience with service development on AWS (Dynamo DB, Lambda, S3, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, CFN)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL or MySQL)
Experience with NoSql databases (ideally DynamoDB)
Experience with Natural Language Processing services like Amazon Textract is a plus.
Experience working on Agile team
Experience in working with Reactjs, Redux, NodeJs is a plus.
Deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.
Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring
Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Must be self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service
Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
