Python/R Expert

• Support the development of the pilot application developed with R Shiny.

• Deploy the application on RStudio Connect Server.

• Writing in Python and R language.

• Turn the prototype into a working application.

• Build the application and deliver it for testing by the end users.

• Improve the application according to business needs and feedback received.

• Integrate different data sources from Excel files, Oracle databases and other sources into one system.

• Update the data either manually or automatically.

• Facilitate users to generate reports (e.g. in Excel) and xml files based on the data gathered in the application.

• Master Degree in Computer Science or other areas relevant to the role or Bachelor + 4 years of professional experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience relevant to the objective of this assignment

• Programming experience with R and Python

• Experience developing R Shiny applications

• Further experience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and/or CSS is desirable

• Ability to understand, clean, and integrate data from different sources into a single coherent database

• Ability to understand and translate business needs into concrete solutions that can be implemented

• Ability to analyse and identify trends defined in the requirements, and prepare reports and presentation with possible recommendation/trends/scenarios to and for business to review in a visual and simple manner

• Analytical rigor and ability to identify actionable insights

• Numeracy, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

• Good knowledge of English
