Giddy is looking for creative and motivated hands on Python Developer who thrives in a dynamic environment working across various functional teams.


  • Work within a cross-functional group of front-end and back-end engineers; including QA, product, and UI/UX teams

  • Build solutions within a multi-framework architecture

  • Make changes and additions to the PHP back-end

  • Continually focus on improving the code base and rolling out new tooling where possible

  • Strong focus in test driven development

  • Leverage REST services and other third-party APIs

  • Rapidly solve problems, bugs, and compatibility issues

  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

  • Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools as necessary


  • 3+ years of writing server-side applications in Python

  • Experience coding in PHP using both procedural and object-oriented methodologies

  • Knowledgeable in MySQL

  • Knowledge in maintaining database schema: MySQL

  • Strong API experience

  • Experience working in an AWS environment

  • Experience with Django or Flask
