We’re looking for Middle and Senior Python Developer with hands-on experience on AWS, architecture and software-design. Previous experience in a green-field project is nice to have but not mandatory.
About Our Customer:
Our client sells PV batteries to (mainly) private customers to allow them to use more of the energy generated by their PV system. The goal of their project is to enable offering energy-related services to the customer that make use of their batteries. These services include using the batteries to stabilize the electric grid in Germany as well as supplying the customer with additional energy in times of low PV production. They are building a scalable platform that aims to provide these services to their customers with a great user experience while reducing the cost2serve. The team is responsible for automating: contract creation from orders, market communication (with other parties in the energy market), creating invoices. The goal is to automate these processes as much as possible.
Location: Poland or Remote from European countries
Salary range:
B2B:
Middle - Up to 19,000 PLN net/ monthly (up to 4 000 euro/month)
Senior - Up to 22,000 PLN net/ B2B / monthly (up to 4 600 euro/month)
Very good experience in the development of backend services
Very good knowledge of Python
Senior: Good knowledge of AWS Services (e.g. EC2, AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Amazon S3)
Intermediate: Some knowledge of AWS services or similar
Experience in test automation (unit testing, integration testing) and a good sense for software quality
For senior: Some experience with setting up CI/CD
For senior: Hands-on experience with architecture and software-design in a green-field project
Strong conceptual & analytical skills
Hands-on mentality, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills as well as a goal- and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
Good knowledge of English
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with NoSQL concepts
Advanced DevOps skills
Experience with a frontend framework like ReactJS or Vue.js
Responsibilities:
Co-create and improve the client's global energy retail platform
Develop using modern open-source frameworks and tools like Gitlab, Python, AWS Lambda, Databases etc.
Continuously deliver software in an Agile scaled scrum setup
Share your concepts and knowledge with your team colleagues in Backlog Refinements, Sprint Reviews, Code Reviews and be open to suggestions for improvement
Improve constantly your Scrum, DevOps and Continuous Delivery skills and abilities
Keep your knowledge up to date with training courses, workshops and user groups
