Python Developer for Engineering Applications (EXPERT)

In Hungary, KOSTAL is about to build its first business service centre to provide business support in IT, finance, procurement, master data, sales and HR fields. This will be a global centre with high value-added and complex processes which you can help to build.

The work can be managed fully remotely – with time-to-time office presence – from any location in Hungary.

Job Description

· Focus is the software technical implementation of requirements our business partners in the engineering departments, mainly in Python programming language.

· Developments of add-ons and interfaces to automate and optimize business processes.

· Configuration of the engineering applications according to the business needs.

· Operation, installation, configuration and incident handling in the environment of engineering applications.

· Monitoring the service quality and ensuring optimal quality and availability of the application environment.

· Communication and close collaboration with our other IT technical teams.

Right now there is an opportunity of getting involved in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA!

Qualifications

· Knowledge of engineering processes in mechanical design and / or software development.

· Deep knowledge in at least one of the main tools (CimDB, CATIA, Jira, MS Project Server).

· Experience in object-oriented software development preferably, but not necessarily, with the languages C++, Python, Java Script, Linux Shell Programming.

· Linux and Windows knowledge.

· Good English skills (spoken and written).

· Experienced working in an international, virtual team.
