Python Developer (Engineering)

Job Description

You will be a part of international team working on implementation of systems used across whole company. Main focus of the group and the projects is to support engineering area of Bosch. There are multiple projects that we are looking specialists for: requirements management, simulation management topics together with knowledge graph. We create our applications in customer-centric approach and would like to have you with us in this journey!

Tasks:

• Design, develop and maintain application as well as data quality tools for the project

• Automate data quality processes (Python, Shell, SQL, Docker)

• Monitor processes and quality of the data using provided tools, react to incidents

• Ensure high code quality

• Support other team members towards building robust and easy to maintain solutions

• Actively participate in design/specification phase together with customers and technical consultants

• Participate in full life-cycle of the application including 3rd level support if necessary

• Work in international team of developers and consultants

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge:

• Sense of humour

• Intermediate / Advanced scripting in Python

• Linux Shell, SQL and SQL programmability basics

• Basics of Linux administration

• Basic experience with Docker, docker-compose and containerized apps

• Basic understanding of computer networks and protocols

• Basic understanding of knowledge graphs

• Knowledge of source control tools (GIT)

• Working experience in agile methodologies (SCRUM)

• Experience with RESTful services

• Experience with Azure DevOps would be beneficial

• Experience in system’s architecture design would be beneficial

Personality and Working Practice: good communication skills, initiative, goal orientation, analytical skills, open minded, capable of working in a team, responsible

Languages: very good knowledge of English (B2+), German would be beneficial but not required
