We’re looking for a driven Machine Learning Engineer to take ownership of ML and LLM-based features in a fast-growing startup environment. As the first dedicated ML engineer, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping the product's AI capabilities, building robust infrastructure, and collaborating closely with the core team.
Architect and implement ML/LLM-driven features that are performant and scalable.
Build data infrastructure and tooling to handle large-scale data efficiently.
Work hands-on with the latest LLMs and AI technologies in a production setting.
Collaborate on code reviews and engineering best practices to grow a maintainable codebase.
Work closely with leadership to ideate and roadmap new capabilities.
Strong computer science fundamentals and practical understanding of performance, memory, and runtime optimization.
1+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering.
Experience using LLMs in production environments (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, LangChain).
Proficient with ML tools and libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.
Comfortable navigating documentation, GitHub, StackOverflow, and open-source projects to solve technical problems independently.
Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code that the team can easily understand and build on.
High velocity and adaptability—you can juggle multiple features and bugs in a fast-paced startup setting.
A product-first mindset with a passion for building seamless and impactful user experiences.
Familiarity with backend systems and a willingness to wear multiple engineering hats when needed.
Strong English communication skills and the initiative to self-learn and problem-solve without handholding.
Backend: Flask, Python
Frontend: React, Next.js
Database & Infra: MongoDB, BigQuery, Cloud Functions
AI/ML: LangChain, OpenAI, Claude, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch
Other Tools: Node.js, GitHub, CI/CD
Public GitHub or side projects showcasing your ML or backend work.
Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, React, and MongoDB—or the ability to learn quickly.
