Middleware Manager* (Python)

We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Corporate Systems Team. As Team Lead Middleware (Python), you will be responsible for our integrations between our Business Applications, e.g. our Revenue, Finance, HR and many other systems.
Implementing processes in Python for Digital Turbine’s Airflow-based middleware solution
Building and enhancing synch processes to the HRIS, Finance, CRM and many other systems
Connecting to other systems via various API standards (REST, SOAP, file based, …) using endpoint specific query languages, etc.
Leading our Middleware team
Being a key member of large scale implementation projects, e.g. ERP, CRM and other systems
Maintaining and monitoring existing integrations
Ensuring and improving the data quality within and across multiple systems, e.g. by identifying and implementing validations and automated workflows
Collecting, challenging, evaluating and documenting requirements. Supporting with the process design, functional specification, testing, go-live and operations support as part of larger projects and smaller change requestsÂ
Supporting migration projects, e.g. by validating and transforming source data to the required formats of the target systems
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with system integrations
University degree in Business Information Systems, International Management, Computer Science or equivalent
You have experience with implementing Python based processes or applications
You have experience with IT systems and especially APIs based on the aforementioned standards
Familiarity with APIs of one or more of the following systems is a plus: Salesforce, Oracle Fusion ERP, Workday
You have first experience with some AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda) or similar services provided by comparable cloud platforms (GCP)
​​Experience with Docker and basic Linux is a plus.You have communication skills to both clearly explain systems and to discuss solutions with stakeholders from other systems and Business stakeholders
You are proactive with the willingness to cover tasks end-to-end with high engagement
You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to cope with related frequent changes as well as new business requirements
You have first experience with agile methodologies
You have good communication skills, verbally and in writing in English
