Aura is looking for a Python/Golang Engineer to work on exciting projects aiming to help keep our customers safe and secure while they use the internet at home.
In this role, you'll work on building new and extending existing back-end services in Python/Golang, to support an exciting product we are bringing to market. As part of our team, you'll work with other engineers, product managers and designers, and our testing team to take features from idea, to specification, to implementation, to launch. We are a small nimble team and give our teammates a lot of room to be creative with solutions. Writing code securely is of the utmost importance, as our goal is to make our customers more secure in their daily lives.
The goal of our team is to provide individuals with a means to control the collection and dissemination of their personal information by data brokers. This service aims to empower individuals by giving them the ability to opt out of having their information collected and shared with third parties, which can help protect their privacy and reduce unwanted marketing messages and other communications. By using DBOO, individuals can prevent their personal information from being sold to third parties without their consent and help them to prevent identity thefts, fraud, and unwanted telemarketing calls. Overall, the goal of the Automation team is to give people more control over their personal information and to help them to protect their privacy in today's digital age.

3+ years of overall engineering experience;
2+ years of experience with Python/Golang;
Good knowledge of OOP;
Experience with MongoDB;
Experience with Docker;
Striving for technical excellence;
Empathy and proactivity;
Intermediate or higher English level;
Knowledge of TypeScript;
Experience with AWS;
Experience with Prometheus/Grafana;
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
