Mid Software Engineer - Python

Zipdev is looking for a Software Engineer - Python to join our international remote engineering team to help us develop and maintain our software product.

Our product delivers essential business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solutions that are easy for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deploy and manage. The rise of cybersecurity threats like phishing and ransomware has made BCDR solutions more important than ever to safeguard data and keep companies secure and productive. MSPs rely on us to address these complex challenges with BCDR solutions that are simple, comprehensive, and profitable.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and testing code

• Debugging programs

• Supporting applications in production

• Experience using server-side logic

• Providing escalation support to partners & helping ‘close the loop’ on issues to resolve them in the product

• Troubleshoot end-user issues and think outside the box regarding solutions

• 2-3 years of work experience as a Python Developer

• Knowledge of C++ and/or Golang is a plus

• Experience in Linux and Windows

• Virtualization and Docker are a plus

• Team spirit

• Good problem-solving skills

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is a plus

• Good English language skills

Our Recruitment Process

• 15-minute Initial Call

• 20-minute take-home skills test

• Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include a code assessment)

• Final Offer

• Work Remote Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
