Medior QA Engineer

Description

Atlantbh is expanding and growing so we are looking for a Medior QA Engineer (Python), passionate about technology and software testing to fill this role. We are looking for a detail-oriented person, with strong tech skills. This is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge, by joining a dynamic team of skilled professionals.

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2 years of experience (minimum)

  • Proficiency in Python programming language

  • Proficiency in writing API test automation (RESTful API's)

  • Attention to detail and a passion/knack for bug detection

  • Ability to think “destructively” in order to add quality to ABH products

  • Automation-first approach

  • Good written and communication skills

  • Good knowledge of basic testing principles such as smoke/regression tests, positive/negative tests, test cases/test plan, etc.

  • Good problem solving and debugging skills

  • Basic knowledge of GIT

NICE TO HAVE

  • Understanding of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools/practices (Jenkins pipelines, Github actions, Gitlab...etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of Linux, in particular terminal/CLI commands

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Create and manage test suites

  • Write functional test scripts (for web applications, API’s, CLI’s, etc.)

  • Create and use CI/CD workflows

  • Challenge/question the work that developers do on a daily basis

  • Work with Product Owners (requirements, definition, planning)
