ManpowerGroup Greece is looking on behalf of its client a fast-growing and innovative company in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Software Development for a Junior Software Engineer to join their team.

📌 Location: Athens, City Center
📍 Work Model: This is a full-time, on-site role based in their City Center Athens office
🖋️ Reporting Line: Directly to the Team Leader
What you will do:
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of real-world AI solutions by supporting the design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning models and applications. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, helping to build scalable backend services, integrate ML models into production, and develop user-facing features. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to full-stack development and modern technologies while continuously growing your technical skills.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of machine learning models using Python (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Contribute to backend development using FastAPI or Flask and support basic frontend tasks (React, Vue.js)
Help build data pipelines and integrate AI models into production environments.
Support the deployment and monitoring of ML models using cloud services (AWS, GCP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product) to build end-to-end solutions
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and agile ceremonies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
1-2 years of experience in software development
Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch
Experience with Database such as SQL
Some exposure to frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
