Junior Python Software Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a motivated Junior Python Engineer to join our Product Engineering Team and be part of our Connect Platform. Together we have built over 600 integrations and you'll contribute to building new connectors and improving existing integrations. You'll have the opportunity to learn from very experienced Software Engineers and get your hands on some high-quality code.

This is a full-time position working from our Katowice office or remotely in the surrounding areas (within a commutable distance to the office).

Some of the things you’ll work on:

In the first two months:

• You'll be assigned to a pod and work closely with other Engineers and pod owners.

• You'll absorb our engineering culture by working on your first task together with your mentor.

After two months:

• You'll take care of the data processing pipelines by working on the new features, extending the scope of the existing ones, fixing bugs with the help of your mentor.

• You'll build relationships within and outside of the Engineering Team and work closely with other Engineers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Customer Support, Engineering Operations, etc.

• You'll have the opportunity to contribute to different tasks -from analysis, development, code review and testing.

• You will be involved in raising the overall quality of our product.

We’re excited if you have:

• Good Python knowledge. You're familiar with at least one of the following frameworks/libraries: Django, Celery and SQLAlchemy.

• Quality first attitude. You understand the importance of tests.

• You're familiar with modern databases like PostgreSQL.

• Over-communication comes natural to you. You are a good listener. You have no problem communicating in English and you understand the importance of sharing knowledge.

• A curious mind and fast learning skills. You have an appetite for continuous learning and you know when and how to dig deeper.
