Junior Backend Software Engineer
What we need!
We are looking for a Junior Backend Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing agile team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement scalable products and systems, have the opportunity to continuously improve your engineering practices, and have an impact in the Tech Music industry!
Your Day to Day!
You will be part of an Agile Team and will:
Maintain & Build - new features for our B2B products.
Propose - solutions and participate in team meetings.
Review - your team's code.
Document - your work in a clean & simple way.
Mentor - engineers and share knowledge.
Design, Implement & Deliver - complex features and systems autonomously.
Be part of a real CI/CD way of working.
Your areas of knowledge & expertise that matters for this role:
2 yrs minimum of working experience in creating and maintaining software systems in production environments.
Exposure with a modern Web Development Framework (e.g. Django, FastAPI, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Spring, ExpressJS).
Experience with object-oriented development (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, C#).
Hands-on SQL experience (preferably with PostgreSQL).
Driven to write well-structured and clean code.
Good understanding of Version Control (preferably with Git).
Willingness to continuously learn and become better.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Extra Points if you have!
Expertise in Django/Django REST Framework.
Familiarity with cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of Observability/Monitoring platforms (eg: Datadog)
Love for music.
