We are the team mainly responsible for application development in the field of FinTech at Gogolook. Our product Roo.cash is a leading financial product matching platform in Taiwan. Our vision is to build “Trust” as the core value, providing the most appropriate products that cater to each consumer’s needs in a snap.


We are looking for a junior Software Engineer who is passionate about creating state-of-the-art technologies for a wide range of engineering applications. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that align with future trends in the company. In addition to working on projects related to microservices architecture, modeling projects, and back-end technologies, you will also have the chance to keep learning about emerging technologies and share your knowledge with others.

Your missions:

  • Participate in the maintenance and/or implementation of fintech products which consist of data processing, coding review and continuous delivery.

  • Write high-quality, clean, elegant, and maintainable code.

  • Use your agility and curious mind to respond to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • Keep learning emerging technologies and share the knowledge.

What you’ll need:

  • BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 1+ years experience in Python or any modern programming language in software or SaaS development.

  • Experience in either Python, Django/Flask, RESTful APIs, GraphQL.

  • Experience in SQL and NoSQL: MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis.

  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud services.

  • Knowledge of computer architecture and experience with the development of Python workflows and/or data visualization.


Plus:

  • Experience in developing recommendation engines.

  • Passionate about modeling and its integration into product features.

  • Contributes to the open source community and/or maintains personal projects.
