Job Description

Key Result Areas & Key Accountabilities

Provide Technical Advice

• Provide technical advice on architecture design, software implementation, deployment methodology and general strategy.

Perform Code Reviews

• Perform quality reviews on development, ensuring code meets quality standards as set out by documents and procedures.

Software Development

• Write reusable, testable, secure, and efficient code.

Develop and Maintain Procedures and Documentation

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of procedures for deployment and development pipelines including linting, and CI/CD. Create and update documentation for system integrators, internal integrations, and architecture.

Upskilling

• Keep current with the latest legislation and applications and how these can be applied within the business

Other Projects

• From time to time undertake other projects and duties as instructed by the CTO

General Policies and Procedures

• Ensure all business policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge and commercial experience with one or more MVC web frameworks such as Django, Ruby on Rails or ASP.Net (Preferably Django).

• Experience as a Full Stack developer with system design skills and knowledge in Python, Javascript, Microservice-architecture and messaging services (SQS/SNS)

• Experience providing expert advice on solution design and working with subject matter experts to create robust, fit for purpose software

• Experience in formulating, documenting, and implementing functional and technical
  specifications

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Ideally candidate is experienced in the industry with at least 3 years experience and is familiar with up to date with modern technologies, frameworks and tooling.

Working Schedule

• Mon-Fri 6am-3pm/ 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm Manila Time

• Permanent Homebased
