Fullstack Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Part-Time Full Stack Engineer. As a Part-Time Full Stack Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 5 - 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and implement web applications using modern technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.

  2. Front-End Development: Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces (UI) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

  3. Back-End Development: Build robust and scalable server-side applications and APIs using programming languages like Python, Ruby, or JavaScript (Node.js).

  4. Database Management: Design and optimize database structures, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity.

  5. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve application defects and performance issues.

  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development, and suggest innovative approaches to improve application performance and user experience.

  8. Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, developing web applications and working with both front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Solid understanding of server-side technologies and frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or similar.

  • Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar, including database design and optimization.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
