We are looking for more developers to produce more product features and assist existing developers to maintain the existing codebase. We are creating high-performant and low-maintenance code and designing for the future architecture of the services in Veo.

You need to be curious about web development. Staying current with Web APIs, JavaScript/Typescript, and interested in web performance and best practices.

Be comfortable working in a team where giving and receiving feedback in the form of code reviews is every day.

We have an agile environment that is inspired by Kanban, and we actively contribute to the user experience of the product. Know what is good quality code ready for production.

• Web and browser should be your second nature

• Javascript and Typescript are easy, and you know React and Jest for Tests

• Find it easy to debug and troubleshoot existing code

• Whatever code editor makes you the most productive

• Experiences with setting up and improving CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience on designing RESTful APIs

• Git for source control

• Have worked professionally with Python

• Knowing Django, AWS services, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions/Workflows is good, but no requirements

• We are a product team

• We work independently from other teams

• We are empowered to build the product for Coaches

• We do retros

• We do weekly planning but do not make story points

• We have our OKRs that set our focus

• We want to focus on product outcome instead of feature output

We are looking for a person who is honest, respectful, and willing to learn and influence others to grow, with at least 5 years of experience in web development.

Our team cares a lot about the product in design, user experience, performance, and reliability. We want to deliver a great product with a high standard, and at the same time, it is also essential that we have fun while doing so. We don’t like micromanagement, and we trust that each of us will do the job while our interaction is casual.

Though most of us have an interest in sports, you do not have to be a sports fanatic to fit in. In contrast, the author of this job ad had to google the offside rule.
