The Role

Data Team are looking for a Full Stack Python Developer to work in a multi-disciplined team, working alongside Data Scientists, BI Developers, UX Designers and Product Owners, who will own their work from the initial idea to the final implementation. The role will allow to work in projects for multiple business department focusing on delivering bespoke data-heavy applications.

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing front end application architecture.

  • Designing user interactions on web pages.

  • Developing back-end website applications.

  • Develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations.

  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.

  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.

  • Designing and developing APIs.

  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.

  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

  • Degree in Computer Science.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Proficiency with fundamental data visualization frontend libraries such as Chart.js, Hicharts, D3, Plotly, Leaflet

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.

  • Proficiency with Python.

  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, DynamoDB.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Fluent in English.
