FullStack Engineer (Python/ React) - 100% remote

We’re a team of experienced engineers and technology enthusiasts passionate about building modern IT and VOD/OTT solutions. For over a decade, we’ve been developing web, mobile, and TV applications that power digital experiences. Since 2020, we have been part of the VECTRA group, one of the largest privately owned capital groups in Poland.

We are currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join one of our projects in the video technology domain. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams based in the UK and Norway, contributing to the continuous development and improvement of the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features for our management software

  • Maintain, test, debug, and improve existing functionality

  • Create and maintain automated tests for developed features

  • Support the development of other products and services within our portfolio

  • Collaborate with developers working on the same codebase

  • Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and other engineers

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Python and the Django framework

  • At least 2 years of experience in front-end web development

  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React

  • Good understanding of Linux systems

  • Solid understanding of databases

  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and experience participating in code reviews

  • Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and end-to-end tests

  • Experience integrating with backend APIs (REST, WebSocket)

  • Understanding of secure software development practices and maintaining software with a complex SBOM

  • Basic understanding of networking protocols used in web applications

  • Strong design judgment and the ability to empathize with end users when designing UI interactions and workflows

  • Very good written and spoken English, including the ability to discuss complex architectures with other developers

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g. Python Twisted, AsyncIO, or similar)

  • Experience collaborating with UX teams and working with Figma

  • Experience triaging dependency security issues and keeping systems patched and up to date

  • Experience working with design systems

  • Understanding of High Availability web services

  • Understanding of self-hosted product development and virtual machine–based infrastructure

  • Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines and working with containerization technologies such as Docker

  • Familiarity with cloud providers such as GCP, Azure, or AWS

  • Experience or familiarity with video conferencing technologies would be a plus
