Full Stack Developer

Team & Position Summary

Influential’s engineering team is defining the future of the creator economy by building the

that will continue to support Influential’s leadership position in the industry.

As a key member of the engineering team your focus will be on building scalable solutions in
collaboration with internal team members and key external strategic partners. Our technology
partners are the world’s leading players connecting people, communities and businesses
around the world.

Your work will focus on expanding the functionality and capabilities of our core platforms
through innovative solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to create first-of-their-kind solutions
and solve unique technology challenges in a high-growth industry.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

● Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript,
including backend express services and React clients.
● Collaborate across team members to produce loosely coupled, highly maintainable backend
systems.
● Collaborate with product designers and clients to clarify requirements, iterate functionality,
and contribute to the overall success of the product.
● Plan, estimate, and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment.

Qualifications (Required)
● 5+ years’ experience in full stack web development.
● Proficient in Node.js, javascript, and typescript.
● Proficient in relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL preferred).
● Familiar with NoSQL paradigms (OpenSearch, MongoDB, etc).
● Familiar with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached).
● Experience building REST services (Express).
● Experience with GraphQL services (Apollo).
● Experience building React web applications.
● Familiarity with React storybook / component driven development.
● Strong organizational and analytical skills.
● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer
sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications (Preferred)
● 8+ years’ experience in full stack web development.
● Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns.
● Deep understanding of asynchronous operations.
● Experience building Python services (Flask, FastAPI).
● Experience building Java services (JDK17+/Spring/JUnit).
● Experience with pub-sub and queue-based messaging systems (Kafka, Redis).
● Experience building microservice architecture at scale.
● Experience working with agile development methodologies.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $130,000
