Frontend Developer (6 to 12-month contract. Azure and Python Packaging)

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer with expertise in the Azure environment and a strong background in packaging Python libraries as microservices with TypeScript code for a 6 to 12-month contract position.

As a Front-End Developer, you will play a vital role in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces while leveraging Azure services to deploy and host microservices built with Python libraries. If you are passionate about front-end development, possess a deep understanding of Azure, and have experience with Python packaging and microservices, we would love to hear from you!

Main Duties:

· Develop and implement user interface components using TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

· Leverage Azure services, such as Azure Functions or Azure App Service, to deploy and host microservices built with Python libraries.

· Package Python libraries as microservices using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Integrate with backend APIs to fetch and update data dynamically, ensuring smooth communication between the front-end and backend systems.

· Optimize front-end code for maximum performance, including minimizing load times and improving overall responsiveness.

· Conduct unit testing and debugging of front-end components to ensure high-quality code and identify and fix any issues or bugs.

· Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with the overall application architecture.

Requirements:

· 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to create interactive and responsive user interfaces.

· Experience in web and/or chatbot applications preferred

· Solid understanding of Python programming and experience with packaging Python libraries as microservices.

· Experience with popular front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

· Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating front-end applications with backend services.

· Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

· Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, debugging tools, and performance optimization techniques is a plus.

· Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.
