DevOps and Product Manager

The St. Gallen Endowment counters economic nationalism by creating transparency in international economic policy. Because we want globalisation to be better managed for the benefit of all, we reconceive how government policy is measured, democratise access to that information so that more effective policies can be identified, and advance policy initiatives so that international commerce is a stronger engine of human progress in the decades to come. We are a rapidly growing all-remote organisation with a young, international team located in a dozen countries.

Tasks

We are looking for a DevOps and Product Manager to join our remote team. We are seeking young professionals who have strong knowledge in Python (Django REST), JavaScript (Vue/Nuxt), HTML, CSS, MySQL and Git (knowledge in AWS Elastic Beanstalk is considered an asset).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conceptualising new applications

• Managing and coordinating the development work of existing and new projects

• Reviewing and testing written code

• Maintaining or improving product deployment processes

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Project management experience

• Excellent communication, reporting and drafting skills in English

• A desire to grow their professional capabilities thrive for operational excellence

• The ability to manage their own work remotely

• knowledge in DevOps Engineering is considered an asset
