CTO in Impact Start-Up

SPRK. global GmbH, a leading green tech startup is currently seeking a CTO to join our talented development team. Our mission is to digitalize the food supply chain to facilitate a reduction in global food prices, lower CO2 emissions, and aid in combating world hunger.

As our CTO, you will lead our Product & Technology Team to execute a business-aligned technology strategy, driving innovation, managing key initiatives, and fostering strategic partnerships for a competitive edge.

Aufgaben

  • Lead and expand our Product & Technology Team at SPRK. global

  • Develop and lead the technology strategy in alignment with SPRK's business objectives

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to your team and further recruit a high-performing engineering team

  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery

  • Manage key tech initiatives and leverage strategic partnerships

  • Evaluate and steer the implementation of new technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge

  • Collaborate with the CEO to represent the company's technological vision to investors, clients, and partners

Qualifikation

  • Experienced tech leader with track record of achievements in Start-Ups, preferably as a CTO in a B2B environment

  • Proficiency in working with high-performance ecommerce and marketplace technology

  • Experience with heterogeneous interfaces, to enable seamless data flow with supply and demand partners

  • Extensive hands-on software development, engineering, technology architecture and AI & Machine Learning expertise

  • Can-do and roll-up sleeves mentality, solution orientation and output driven

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align technology strategies with overall business goals

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field

  • Proficiency in working with our main tech stack: Python, Django, AWS is an advantage
