Cloud Migration Python Engineer (AWS / Python / Data Science)

We are currently seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer. In this role, you will be focused on AWS Development and Architecture. We are looking for hands-on professionals who can build good technical solutions and then roll up their sleeves to implement the solution.

Responsibilities:

• Build the cloud computing processes working with large data sets and advanced analytics.

• Create processes to take upstream data from data lakes and data marts and apply logic to them using SQL and Python and stored procedures.

• Use primarily AWS native tools.

• Collaborate with product and/or business owners, data engineers, and platform teams to understand business needs and current capabilities, data availability, and alternative uses.

• Implement new statistical modeling capabilities.

• Apply predictive analytic capabilities to enhance the delivery of business applications, and support the integration of data and statistical models or algorithms. Apply industry practices in research and testing to product development, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS Development and Cloud Architecture.

• Expertise in using statistical methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

• Knowledge of Natural Language Generation (NLG), Transformers, BERT, and comparable methods.

• 3+ years of experience in Python and Python full-stack development, Pandas, Scikit Learn, NLTK, SHAP and LIME, Flask, or comparable methods.

• Experience in processing large-scale data, migrations, and database concepts.

• Excellent communication skills to ask questions, clarify requirements, and engage with the team and stakeholders.

• Strong logic, reasoning, and critical thinking skills to solve problems as they arise.

• Must be an independent problem solver who can evaluate a situation and build solution options.

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or data analytics.
