Business Development -Services Solution Engineer 

This Application/Business Development Engineering role provides a great job opportunity to support Keysight PathWave Software Solutions (PSS) Business Development and Technology Services team in The Americas region. Chosen candidate will perform as a solution engineer with responsibilities highlighted as following:

• Applies industry knowledge, technical expertise, and understanding of client’s strategic direction and business goals to identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions in Electronic System Level (ESL) designs, such as 5/6G, MIMO, radar, automotive, satellite/military or commercial communications systems.

• Translates customer challenges into Keysight business opportunities and technical consulting services and solutions, including the design, scope, and development of the technical components, which improve overall performance of client’s organization. Integration may include 3rd party products, enhancements to Keysight products, or defining new service offerings to meet client requirements

• Stay connected with the latest developments in the software through R&D reviews, field presentations, and engagement with technical experts

• Initiates innovative new business opportunity development/ consulting approaches

• Technical or business consultant to Keysight group and business level managers and to key client decision-makers

• Proficient in using Keysight PathWave ADS, SystemVue, etc. simulation software or equivalent

• Good at programming, such as Matlab, and Python

• Develop application notes, white paper, or customer education material and deliver custom trainings as needed

• Ability to travel 10% of the time, though travel will vary

Viewed internally and by customers as a technical, marketing and customer- oriented leader

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) with relative major, such as Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• 5+ years relevant experience in Application/Design Engineering in wireless/RF communication systems

• Expertise designing technical solutions in Electronic System Level (ESL), such as 5/6G, MIMO, radar, automotive, satellite/military or commercial communications systems

• Experience with aerospace defense industries and applications is desirable

• Previous experience working with customers is preferred

• Strong programming skills, such as Matlab and/or Python.

• A team player with strong self-motivation and growth mindset

• Commitment to excellence and dedication to quality

• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts, both written and verbally

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities

This role can be performed from anywhere in the US,  including remote.
