About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SaaS platform and its integrations. You will be focused on the AI module of the Wazoku platform, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and data scientists to ideate and develop scalable solutions that solve business challenges.
You will be responsible for developing clean, secure, well-documented, and performant code in Python/Django in the backend and collaborating with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into our platform.
The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with Machine Learning and AI principles.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and data scientists to ideate and develop scalable solutions for Wazoku platform’s AI module
Participate in planning and estimation of user stories
Develop clean, secure, well-documented, and performant code with adequate test coverage using Python/Django in the backend
Collaborate with QA to test code, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs
Understand the fundamentals of Wazoku infrastructure
Understanding of data modelling, ML and AI principles, and ETL processes is advantageous
Proficient in Python
Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django REST framework
Proficient with Relational Database Design and SQL principles
Attention to detail and a passion for writing clean and maintainable code
Familiarity with NLP (natural language processing) techniques.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Ability to hold a full conversation in English
Nice to have
Familiarity with DevOps principles
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Knowledge of distributed version control systems such as Git
