  • JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)

  • LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere (TimeZone: MST | Partial overlap)

  • HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $70 – $100/hr

  • ESTIMATED DURATION: 20 hrs/wk - Short term

  THE OPPORTUNITY

  Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years of programming experience in Python, and comfort working in a Linux environment including automation.

  • Experience with cloud development APIs, tools, and services.

  • Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases.

  • Interest in blockchain / crypto / web3 technologies, but development experience in these areas is not required.

  Our client is looking for a contract-based backend Python developer. Your main focus will be the development of web service software that leverages AWS, REST APIs, full text search, mass-emailing, and queues/databases. They are a startup currently in stealth mode.
